Job summary

The role requires independent underwriting, effective communication with lenders, and collaboration with reviewers and external counsel as needed. Hybrid work arrangement offered with in-office and remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with at least five years’ experience.
• Experience in credit risk analysis, underwriting, and financial statement evaluation.
• Travel to customers and prospects is expected.

Responsibilities

• Apply credit culture and policies; act as a policy expert.
• Compile key financial data for risk representation in loan requests.
• Underwrite independently per regulations and bank policy.
• Accept credit requests and decide on declination or proceeding.
• Recommend risk grades with supporting analysis.
• Assist in portfolio management and annual review processes.
• Review appraisals and loan documentation with outside counsel.
• Prepare reports and maintain data integrity.
• Support lenders in meetings and loan closings as needed.
