Job summary

Park National Corporation is seeking a Credit Analyst to prepare loan requests, analyze financial statements, and assist with underwriting in compliance with policies and regulations.

The role requires BA/BS in Finance or Accounting with 2+ years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills and the ability to work with lenders on client calls and loan decisions. A hybrid schedule with some onsite hours is available.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or related field; 2+ years relevant experience
• Ability to spread financial statements and tax returns and analyze historical performance
• Understanding of credit analysis, loan underwriting standards and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare loan requests and renewal write-ups with cash flow, collateral, industry and management analysis
• Underwrite in accordance with regulations, bank policy and legal requirements
• Spread financial statements and tax returns and analyze historical performance
• Assist in annual reviews of existing clients and monitor loan covenants and credit risk
• Attend department meetings and maintain credit files and documentation
• Support lenders on calls, presentations and loan approvals as needed
• Contribute to loan review cycles and asset reporting
• Promote bank credit culture and risk management frameworks
