Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Finance preferred.
• High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Apply the bank's credit policy and act as policy expert.
• Compile key financial data for credit risk including cash flow, collateral, industry, management analysis, and repayment capacity.
• Underwrite loan requests in accordance with regulations, compliance terms, bank policy, and legal requirements.
• Decide on declination or proceeding for credit requests.
• Recommend risk grades with supporting analyses and mitigants.
• Assist in annual reviews, loan reviews, and regulatory examinations; may manage the process.
• Spread financial statements and analyze historical performance; review proformas.
• Develop loan covenants and structures to mitigate risk.
• Assist in training junior analysts and potentially manage a small team.
