Job summary

Cast AI seeks a senior in-house attorney to own commercial contracting end to end, negotiating new-logo and renewal agreements, NDAs, and vendor/partner contracts. You will standardize processes as Cast AI shifts to a multi-product platform and oversee APAC legal matters from Day One.

You will advise on GDPR/CCPA, IP rights, and data protection, while collaborating with sales, customer success, and partnerships teams in a remote-first, global environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing in a relevant state.
• Experience in tech transactions, in both law firm and in-house settings.
• Track record negotiating SaaS or commercial agreements.
• Ability to manage multiple deals under time pressure.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, data privacy law (GDPR, CCPA), and IP law.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Location: United States, Eastern or Central time zone preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate Cast AI's sales agreements end to end, for new logos and renewals.
• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, vendor, reseller, and contractor agreements.
• Lead efforts to revamp contracting processes for a multi-product business.
• Draft and negotiate customer agreements including SLAs, EULAs, and subscriptions.
• Advise on GDPR/CCPA data privacy and IP issues.
• Assist with governance, compliance policies to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with external counsel on disputes related to commercial agreements.
• Work across functions in the deal cycle and supervise APAC legal resources from day one.
