Job summary

Cast AI is seeking a senior in-house lawyer to own the commercial contracting lifecycle for a multi-product platform. You will negotiate new-logo and renewal agreements with sales and customer success, draft NDAs, vendor and reseller contracts, and guide data privacy and IP considerations.

You will revamp contracting workflows, coordinate with external counsel, and oversee APAC legal resources from day one in a remote-first, international environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• Proven experience in tech transactions in law firm and in-house.
• Experience negotiating SaaS or commercial agreements including NDAs, vendor, and reseller agreements.
• Ability to close deals under time pressure while mitigating risk.
• Strong knowledge of contract, data privacy (GDPR/CCPA), and IP law.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with multitasking ability.
• Location: United States, Eastern or Central time zone preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate sales agreements end to end for new logos and renewals.
• Draft and negotiate NDAs, vendor, and reseller agreements.
• Revamp contracting processes to match multi-product strategy.
• Draft and negotiate customer agreements including SLAs and EULAs.
• Advise on GDPR, CCPA, and IP matters.
• Develop policies to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with external counsel on disputes.
• Collaborate with deal desk, sales, and customer success.
• Oversee APAC legal resource from day one.
