Job summary

Life360 is seeking a Commercial Counsel Attorney with 5+ years of experience negotiating advertising and ad tech agreements. You will draft and negotiate publisher, DSP/SSP, IOs, and content licensing agreements to support Life360's programmatic ads and monetization efforts.

You will work with Privacy, Product, and Engineering to ensure compliance with CCPA/GDPR and build scalable contracting playbooks while enabling deals to close efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant legal experience at a law firm or in-house.
• Experience drafting publisher, DSP/SSP, IOs, and content licensing agreements.
• Experience with privacy frameworks, including CCPA and GDPR DPAs.
• Familiarity with programmatic advertising ecosystem and IAB terms.
• Able to balance legal protections with business needs; closes deals efficiently.
• Interest in using AI-powered tools to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate supply-side and demand-side advertising agreements.
• Negotiate DPAs and privacy terms within programmatic deals.
• Draft content licensing and procurement/marketing agreements.
• Translate legal requirements into practical guidance for Ads, Sales, and Ad Ops.
• Build templates, playbooks, and workflows to accelerate contracting.
• Collaborate with Privacy, Product, and Engineering on deal terms.
