Job summary

Life360 seeks an Associate Legal Counsel, Product & Privacy, Ads to guide product and engineering teams on privacy, consumer protection, and content regulation for our ad-tech initiatives.

You will serve as the primary legal contact for Ad Sales and Ads Product Managers, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel for Product & Privacy, with cross-functional collaboration across Marketing and Infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience in product and privacy counseling in the ad-tech space.
• J.D. from an accredited law school; state bar admission.
• CIPP/US certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Advise ads engineering and product teams on legal and regulatory issues throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Provide counsel on privacy and data protection matters (GDPR/CCPA) for ad-tech.
• Advise on content regulation and marketing matters for the B2B ads business.
• Monitor evolving privacy and technology regulations in ad-tech; help develop risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Compliance and Infrastructure teams.
