Job summary

Life360 is seeking a Legal Counsel for Product & Privacy in the US to advise on privacy, consumer protection, and content regulation matters in the ad-tech space. You will partner with product, engineering, and marketing teams, acting as the primary legal contact for Ad Sales and Ads product managers.

You will report to the Deputy General Counsel for Product & Privacy, collaborating with Marketing, Comms, and the Infrastructure team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience in product counseling and privacy counseling in the ad-tech space.
• Experience advising software product managers and engineers.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar membership.

Responsibilities

• Advise ads engineering and product teams on legal and regulatory issues through the product lifecycle.
• Provide counsel on privacy and data protection for ad tech and ensure GDPR/CCPA compliance.
• Advise on ads content policies and enforcement to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Advise on marketing matters related to the B2B ads business.
• Monitor evolving privacy and consumer protection regulations in ad tech for Life360.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies with cross-functional teams.
