Job summary

Life360 seeks an Associate Legal Counsel, Product & Privacy, Ads to advise product, engineering, and marketing on privacy and consumer protection matters related to our ad-tech business.

You will serve as the primary legal contact for Ad Sales and Ads Product Managers, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel for Product & Privacy, collaborating with Marketing, Comms and Infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience in product counseling and privacy counseling in the ad-tech space.
• Experience advising software product managers and engineers on consumer protection matters.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state bar.
• CIPP/US certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise ads engineering and product teams on legal and regulatory issues throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Provide counsel on privacy and data protection matters related to ad tech, including GDPR and CCPA.
• Advise on content regulation matters, including ads content policies and enforcement.
• Advise on marketing matters related to the B2B ads business.
• Monitor evolving international privacy, consumer protection, and technology regulations in ad-tech space.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies.
