Life360, a remote-first company, is seeking an Associate Legal Counsel for Product & Privacy in Ads to advise on privacy, consumer protection, and content regulation as part of our growing legal team.

You will counsel product, engineering, and marketing teams, support ad tech initiatives (SSP/DSP), and report to the Deputy General Counsel. This role offers US-based salary with RSUs and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience in product and privacy counseling for ad-tech.
• Experience advising software product managers and engineers.
• Bar admission in at least one state; CIPP/US preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise ads engineering and product teams on legal and regulatory issues across the product lifecycle.
• Provide counsel on privacy and data protection matters, ensuring GDPR/CCPA compliance.
• Advise on ads content policies and enforcement to meet applicable laws.
• Counsel on marketing matters for the B2B ads business.
• Monitor evolving international privacy and consumer protection regulations affecting ad-tech.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management strategies.
