Job summary
Jobot is seeking a Project Manager for our Commercial Construction division in the Bay Area. You will oversee projects from start to finish, manage budgets, schedules, and resources, and coordinate teams to deliver on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in commercial construction, experience with Fortune 500 clients or TI projects, and strong leadership, communication, and risk-management skills. PMP/CCM are advantages; equity and growth opportunities exist.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction management.
- Experience with Fortune 500 companies and/or tenant improvements (TI).
- Strong risk, contract, procurement, and change order experience.
- Leadership with ability to direct multiple work teams.
- Excellent communication and detail orientation.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; PMP/CCM is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all stages of project life cycle from conception through completion.
- Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement risk strategies.
- Manage contracts, negotiations, and client/subcontractor relations.
- Read blueprints, interpret codes, and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate construction teams and procurement.
- Manage change orders and project bidding.
- Represent owner in construction processes and site activities.
