Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Commercial TI (Office) projects in San Francisco and San Ramon. This permanent, full-time role offers opportunities to grow within a dynamic commercial construction team.

You will support the Project Manager on tenant-improvement projects, coordinate with architects and subcontractors, monitor schedules and budgets, and help ensure quality and safety on site. 2+ years in construction PM preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of project management experience in commercial tenant improvement projects.
Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
Strong PM skills with ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration with teams at all levels.
Proficiency with project management software and computer apps.
Degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field preferred.
Ability to read architectural drawings and specs, think critically, and stay safe.

Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in planning, management, and execution of commercial TI projects.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet objectives.
Review project specs and help create schedules and budgets.
Monitor progress, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality.
Coordinate and supervise construction teams, subs, and suppliers.
Ensure safety regulations are followed and maintain site standards.
Prepare progress reports and participate in meetings.
Address issues during construction and support project closeout.
