Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager for its Commercial Construction division in the Bay Area. You will oversee projects from start to finish, manage budgets and schedules, and collaborate with clients and subcontractors to deliver high-value builds.

The role requires extensive experience in construction management, risk and contracts, and exceptional leadership and communication skills to drive projects to successful completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction management.
• Experience with Fortune 500 companies and/or tenant improvement (TI) projects.
• Proven track record in risk and contract management, procurement, change orders, and owner representation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle from conception to completion.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
• Manage contracts, negotiations, and relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Read blueprints, construction drawings, and building codes for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate construction teams and procurement of materials.
• Prepare project estimations and manage change orders.
• Represent the owner in all aspects of the construction process.
• Oversee bidding, submittals, and construction scheduling.
• Ensure site safety and manage on-site activities.
