Job summary

California Bank & Trust in San Francisco is seeking a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to generate and service a wide variety of commercial loans and develop strong, low-risk client relationships while maintaining high levels of customer service.

You will act as the principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients, expanding the portfolio through referrals and cross-selling bank products, while monitoring credit performance and ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's and at least 4-8+ years' experience with commercial or credit lending, credit, underwriting.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, lending, closing processes.
• Ability to expand commercial loans, client relationships and cross-sell bank products.
• Strong sales ability and interpersonal/communication skills.
• Experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment.

Responsibilities

• Generate and service a wide variety of commercial loans and develop strong, low-risk relationships with clients.
• Serve as principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients.
• Develop and follow up on new client leads and referrals.
• Call on existing relationships to review portfolios and make recommendations.
• Cross-sell other bank products and monitor credit performance.
