Job summary
Commerce Bank is seeking a seasoned Commercial Banking Relationship Manager II/III/Senior to lead the management of existing commercial relationships and pursue new business opportunities. You will handle portfolios with significant loan and deposit activity, while working with product partners to optimize profitability.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of commercial banking experience, along with strong sales, credit structuring, and leadership skills to mentor junior staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of commercial banking experience.
Responsibilities
- Acquire new business with assigned customers and prospects.
- Serve as primary advisor for an assigned portfolio of commercial relationships.
- Coordinate with product partners to cross-sell a full range of products and services.
- Review portfolio to reduce risk and enhance profitability.
- Facilitate credit requests including loan structuring, pricing, collateral, and documentation.
- Resolve customer problems by engaging product experts as needed.
- Participate in community and business functions to generate referral contacts.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies and applicable laws.
