Job summary

Commerce Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager III/Senior to manage a diverse commercial loan portfolio and strengthen customer relationships at our Denver location. You will evaluate requests, support underwriting, and help structure credit accommodations while ensuring compliance and high performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in business administration and 5+ years of commercial banking experience, with strong analytical and presentation skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• 5+ years of commercial banking experience required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial banking products and credit policies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a large portfolio with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary advisor for commercial relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Evaluate customer service requests for existing relationships including loan renewals and modifications.
• Assist Regional Managers on credit requests including underwriting, loan structuring, pricing, collateral and risk analysis.
• Prepare loan bookings and assist in closing, including documentation review.
• Maintain loan reporting and portfolio profitability.
