Job summary

F.N.B. Corporation in Greensboro, NC seeks a Business Banker 3 to develop and manage commercial banking relationships in the local market, nurturing new and existing client accounts with a proactive outreach approach.

You will profile customers, identify banking needs, and tailor product solutions to drive profitability while ensuring compliance with lending regulations, with emphasis on service, teamwork, and community involvement to grow the Bank’s presence.

Qualifications

• BA or BS required.
• 7 years minimum experience in commercial or business banking.
• Experience with lending laws and regulations recommended.
• MS Word – Basic, MS Excel – Intermediate, MS PowerPoint – Basic.

Responsibilities

• Develops new business relationships and services current business relationships by profiling and maintaining the relationship, contacting customers to determine banking needs, selling products and services to meet identified needs according to the Bank’s pricing and fee schedule and resolving problems.
• Maintains a prospective customer call program by using referrals and other methods to identify potential customers, making cold calls and promoting products and services to strengthen the Bank’s image.
• Networks referrals sources (CPAs and Attorneys) by regular contact, hosting receptions, recognizing and thanking sources to obtain referrals and develop new business relationships.
• Works with Commercial, Retail and Trust contacts to enhance and promote the Bank’s image and develop new business relationships.
• Submits reports on business development activities to keep management informed.
• Serves as advisor to Business Development Officers 1 and 2 and Commercial Bankers for development approaches.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
