Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a seasoned Commercial Banking professional to manage a portfolio of large, complex clients and prospects. You will deepen client relationships, analyze financials, and coordinate with cross-functional teams across Credit, Treasury, and Investment areas to tailor financial solutions.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in Commercial Lending or Investment Banking, strong leadership, and proven prospecting and deal-closing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Commercial Lending or Investment Banking.
• Proven ability to manage an extensive client portfolio.
• Proven track record of prospecting new business, expanding relationships and closing profitable transactions.
• Professional sales skills including planning, execution and follow-up of client meetings.
• Strong corporate finance, capital markets and accounting knowledge.
• Financial modeling experience and completion of formal credit training required.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Capable of organizing and negotiating with a team of bank associates to solve client problems.
• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 & 63 (must obtain within 180 days of start date)

Responsibilities

• Manages an extensive portfolio of complex clients and prospects with revenues of $50M–$2B and helps them save, borrow, and invest.
• Acquires, deepens, and maintains profitable client relationships through sales and prospecting.
• Interprets financial and cash flow statements to assess company finances and industry trends.
• Collaborates with domestic and international teams and facilitates client relationships with Product Specialists.
• Leads discussions on client industry, capital structures, and business issues.
• Coaches and mentors peers and demonstrates leadership.
• Adapts to changes in sales practices and market conditions as needed.
