Job summary

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Collections Representative to join our Robinson Fresh Financial Operations team. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts and resolve invoice discrepancies to keep cash flow moving, while building strong internal and external relationships.

In this role, you’ll investigate aging invoices, escalate complex issues, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 4+ years in finance or related fields is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of customer service, collections, cash applications, credit, accounts payable or related finance experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective and flexible communication with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and oversee completion of all accounts and assigned responsibilities.
• Utilize advanced skills in processes, procedures and systems to recover aging invoices.
• Analyze data to identify and solve complex problems.
• Escalate more complex issues to senior team members or leadership.
• Work with stakeholders to improve efficiencies and achieve targeted results.
• Contribute ideas for process improvement based on identified themes.
• Develop professional relationships with internal and external customers and provide timely, professional service.
• Ongoing development of skills and business acumen; provide coaching to less experienced team members.
• Other duties as assigned according to team or country requirements.
