Job summary

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Collections Representative to join the Robinson Fresh Financial Operations team.

You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, investigate invoice discrepancies, and help maintain healthy cash flow in a dynamic, distributed work setting. The role emphasizes problem solving, collaboration with internal teams and external customers, and ongoing development of collections expertise.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of customer service, collections, cash applications, credit, accounts payable or related finance experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective and flexible communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Critical thinking skills and ability to use judgement and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and oversee completion of all accounts and assigned responsibilities.
• Utilize more advanced skills and expertise in processes to recover aging invoices.
• Analyze data to identify and solve complex problems.
• Escalate more complex issues to senior-level team members or leadership.
• Work with stakeholders to improve efficiencies and achieve targeted results.
• Contribute ideas for process improvement based on identified themes and big-picture view.
• Develop professional relationships with internal and external customers, maintain open lines of communication, and provide timely, professional service.
• Continual development of skills, collections knowledge, and business acumen.
• Provide coaching and support to less experienced team members.
• Other duties as assigned per team or country requirements.
