Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a DRG Senior Coding Educator to educate, train, and develop processes with leadership to support accurate DRG assignments. The role focuses on onboarding new CDSs, mentoring CDI staff, and collaborating with clinicians to ensure timely, compliant documentation.

The position emphasizes expertise in clinical documentation and coding, with remote work flexibility but travel to client or corporate sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience with clinical documentation and/or coding.
• Experience with multiple EMRs (Epic, Meditech and Cerner).
• Detail oriented and self-motivated.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements onboarding for new CDSs and coordinates training for CDI staff.
• Educates healthcare professionals through 1:1 and group sessions; interacts with medical staff and leadership.
• Makes recommendations for documentation improvement and queries to capture care and intensity of services.
