Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a remote DRG Validation Coding Auditor to perform inpatient coding audits and ensure accurate DRG assignments for client facilities across the United States.

The role requires 5+ years of coding experience and 3+ years of facility coding audit experience, with preferred certifications (CPC/ CCS/ RHIA/ RHIT). Travel to client sites may be required on occasion, and a strong knowledge of ICD-10 guidelines is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform DRG validation coding audits for acute inpatient services.
• Identify coding errors, compliance gaps, and educational opportunities.
• Support accurate DRG assignment and documentation to optimize reimbursement.
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations to coders and CDI specialists.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS guidelines and coding clinics.
