JoB Training & Coaching is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist specializing in Wire EDM to join our precision manufacturing team in Knoxville, TN. The ideal candidate will independently set up, operate, and program CNC and Wire EDM equipment with minimal supervision.

The role demands strong hands-on experience with CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDM machines, plus advanced blueprint reading and G-Code programming. You will maintain strict quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of CNC Machining and Wire EDM experience.
• Experience with CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDM machines.
• Strong G-Code programming and editing skills.
• Ability to read GD&T drawings and inspect parts to spec.
• Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDM machines.
• Tooling setup, workpiece alignment, and machine calibration.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T to ensure part tolerance.
• Perform in-process and final inspections for quality.
• Maintain documentation and routing sheets; troubleshoot issues.
