Job summary

JoB Training & Coaching is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist specializing in Wire EDM operations in Knoxville, TN. The role requires independent setup, operation, and programming of CNC and Wire EDM equipment with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDM machines, plus G-Code programming, blueprint reading, and GD&T interpretation. On-site, full-time position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of CNC Machining and Wire EDM experience.
• Experience with CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDM machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and program CNC and Wire EDM equipment with minimal supervision.
• Program, edit, and troubleshoot G-Code at machine controls (Fanuc and Mitsubishi).
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T drawings, and engineering specs to ensure part accuracy.
• Perform in-process and final inspections and maintain production documentation.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues.
