Job summary

JoB Training & Coaching seeks an experienced CNC Machinist with strong Wire EDM experience to join our Knoxville, TN manufacturing team. The role involves setting up, operating, and programming CNC equipment to produce high-precision components while upholding strict quality and safety standards.

You will read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and perform inspections with precision measuring tools. Candidates should be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of CNC machining experience.
• Hands-on experience with Wire EDM machinery.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Proficiency in programming and editing G-Code.
• Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T drawings.
• Strong shop math and trigonometry skills.
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDM machines.
• Program, edit, and troubleshoot G-Code programs at machine controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
