Job summary

JoB Training & Coaching is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong Wire EDM expertise to join the Knoxville facility. The role focuses on setting up, programming, and operating CNC equipment to manufacture high-precision components in a fast-paced shop.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of CNC experience, familiarity with Fanuc/Mitsubishi controls, and proficiency with exacting GD&T standards. Candidates must read blueprints, manage multiple priorities, and uphold safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years CNC machining experience.
• Hands-on Wire EDM experience.
• Setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Programming/editing G-Code at machine controls.
• Read blueprints and GD&T drawings.
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Work independently with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDM machines.
• Program, edit, and troubleshoot G-Code at machine controls.
• Select, install, and align tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T specs.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections with precision tools.
• Maintain safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
