GE Vernova in Bangor, ME is seeking a CNC Programming Engineer who writes and optimizes CNC programs using CAM software. You’ll validate programs against specs, define tooling and setup, and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years CNC programming experience, knowledge of NC/CAM software, and strong communication. US work authorization is required; relocation assistance is provided.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on CNC programming experience.
• Working knowledge of NC Programming/CAM software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsabilidades

• Write, test, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.
• Validate program accuracy against design specifications during shop floor implementation.
• Define and refine production processes, tooling, and equipment setup with manufacturing teams.
• Troubleshoot CNC programming issues to minimize downtime and keep output on schedule.
• Support New Product Introduction by developing programming solutions for first-run parts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply mechanical engineering judgment.
• Participate in Lean Kaizen events, contributing programming-focused improvements.
