GE Vernova is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer on the CAD/CAM team in Greenville, SC. You will design and optimize high-efficiency multi-axis CNC programs for complex components, validate toolpaths with Vericut, and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to commission new multi-million-dollar machines on site.

You’ll build adaptive probing routines, support tool and fixture requirements, and mentor floor staff while driving process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or Machinist Apprentice with 3 years of experience with graphical based CAM System CNC Programming.
• High School Degree with 6 years of experience with graphical based CAM System CNC Programming.

• Process Architecture: Design and optimize high-efficiency CNC programs for complex multi-axis setups cutting high-temperature superalloys.
• Virtual Prototyping: Use Vericut to validate code and optimize toolpaths in a virtual environment.
• Smart Machining: Develop adaptive probing routines, macro programming, and closed-loop machining processes.
• New Equipment Integration: Commission new multi-million-dollar machine tools and establish baseline machining standards.
• Cross-Functional Teamwork: Mentor floor teammates and share knowledge across the team.
