Job summary

JoB Training & Coaching is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong Wire EDM experience for our Knoxville, TN facility. The role involves setting up, operating, and programming CNC equipment to manufacture high-precision components while maintaining strict quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of CNC machining experience, proficiency with Wire EDM, and familiarity with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls. Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years CNC machining experience with Wire EDM.
• Experience setting up/operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Proficient in G-Code programming/editing.
• Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T drawings.
• Strong math/trigonometry skills; use of micrometers/calipers/gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDM machines.
• Program, edit, and troubleshoot G-Code at machine controls.
• Select, install, and align tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections with precision tools.
• Maintain safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Complete production documentation and quality records.
