Job summary

Blue Origin in Washington state seeks a skilled machinist/NC programmer to program, setup, operate, and maintain advanced CNC machines for high-value parts used in spaceflight systems. You will collaborate with engineering on DFM feedback and production-ready manufacturing approaches.

Responsibilities include CAM programming, tool selection, and continuous improvement to ensure first article success and tight tolerances, with opportunities to grow across multiple business units including Lunar.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a machinist, programmer, or machine operator.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience CNC programming in NX or Mastercam preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting up, and operating 2-, 3-, and 5-axis machines and supporting equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and models.
• Machining tight-tolerance, high-value parts with quality conformance.
• Document and standardize production processes with engineering.
