Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking experienced CNC Machine Programmers to create CAM programs for complex multi-axis machines and then machine parts. You will ensure quality, work with engineering, and support production across facilities.

Roles involve 3–5 axis milling and multi-axis turning using NX, GD&T, and a range of tooling and controls. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in CNC machining, strong setup and programming skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced aerospace environment requiring

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machining.
• 10+ years of experience with manual mill and lathe.
• 7+ years of experience with NX; full understanding of GD&T and inspection tools.
• Thrive in a constantly evolving environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Collaborative team player who can work with design and engineering to improve processes.
• Experience machining nickel-based alloys, copper, aluminum or titanium.

Responsibilities

• Machine products from cradle to grave, selecting tooling and writing programs.
• Set up and machine 3, 4 and 5 axis mills and multi axis lathes; develop cutting processes.
• Operate NC and manual equipment and document production steps with engineering.
• Partner with leadership to prioritize work based on schedules and goals.
• Ensure conformance to engineering specifications and perform routine maintenance.
