Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a CNC Machinist III to operate and set up CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards. The role may involve some programming and requires reading blueprints and improving setup procedures.

You will work within continuous improvement and customer-driven initiatives, aiming for productivity and safety in a high-precision environment in Pennsylvania. A strong background in CNC machining and tool setup is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Associate degree or apprenticeship in tooling & machining is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Propose new production setups and adjust offsets/tooling.
• Perform difficult CNC machining with close tolerances and quality.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes and improve work instructions.
• Ensure product quality by using OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
