Job summary

TECOMET is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III in the Philadelphia area to produce machined parts by operating, setting up, and possibly programming CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes in accordance with drawings and procedures.

The role emphasizes quality, safety, and continuous improvement, with attention to tool wear, offsets, and documentation. Strong blueprints reading and measurement skills are required to ensure on-time production and adherence to GMP/GDP standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; perform routine PM checks.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Record activities on the job tracking system.
• Identify and support Continuous Improvement activities.
