Job summary

TECOMET Dresher seeks a skilled CNC Machinist III to produce precision parts by operating, setting up, and possibly programming CNC mills, Wire EDMs and lathes. You will read drawings, adjust tooling, and maintain quality per OOQ standards.

Role requires 5+ years experience, strong math skills, and a safety-first mindset. You will participate in continuous improvement, follow GMP/GDP, and document activities diligently.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Propose new production setups and change offsets/tooling.
• Perform difficult CNC machining with close tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Improve and produce work Instructions.
• Assist Engineering with fixture design to improve quality and productivity.
• Ensure product quality per OOQ standards using measuring equipment and readings.
• Propose adjusted speeds and feeds for different machining needs.
• Perform routine PM and machine maintenance.
• Perform hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete routers/cards.
• Identify and report safety issues and environmental concerns.
• Record activities in job-tracking system.
• Support Continuous Improvement activities.
