TECOMET is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and potentially program CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDMs. You will interpret engineering drawings, adjust tooling, and propose setups to hit tight tolerances while maintaining safe, compliant practices.

The role requires high reliability, strong math skills, and teamwork to meet production and quality goals. Expect hands-on machining, routine maintenance, and continuous improvement contributions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English desirable (UK only)

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within specified tolerances following work instructions and drawings.
• Propose new production setups and adjust tooling/ offsets as part of new setups.
• Perform difficult CNC machining work with very close tolerances and read blueprints.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes; ensure quality via OOQ standards and measurement tools.
• Assist Engineering with fixture redesigns to improve quality and productivity.
