Job summary

TECOMET in New Jersey is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and possibly program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes, producing precision parts per engineering drawings.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot programs, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining safety and GMP standards. The role demands attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience preferred.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Propose new production set ups and tool offsets.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure quality with OOQ standards.
• Assist Engineering with fixtures and tooling improvements.
• Record activities on the job tracking system.
