Job summary

TECOMET in New Jersey is seeking a seasoned CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and potentially program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes to manufacture high-precision parts according to engineering drawings and quality standards.

You will read blueprints, adjust tooling and offsets, perform routine maintenance, and follow GMP/GDP and safety practices while contributing to continuous improvement with a team-focused, quality-driven culture.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Experience with reading blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficiency in performing setup, offsets, and some programming.
• Strong math and measuring skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances and in accordance with drawings.
• Propose new production setups and change offsets/tooling.
• Perform difficult CNC work including progress machining with very close tolerances.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes and maintain quality records.
