The Senior Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset provides resident-centered nursing care in a 128-bed long-term care setting. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will assist with daily living activities, documentation, and care coordination to ensure comfort and safety for residents.

The role requires a CNA certification, a minimum age of 16, and prior clinical experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Minimum age 16.
• Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Annual continuing education: minimum 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living and daily living activities.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes.
• Support wellness and recreational programs and assist in restorative activities.
