Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is seeking a Senior Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a 128-bed long-term care facility in Mandan, ND. The role supports the nursing team under RN supervision, with duties spanning daily living activities, vital signs, and documentations of care plans.

Shifts are 2:00pm–10:15pm with every other weekend and rotating holidays; healthcare benefits and a sign-on bonus are offered for eligible full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing is required.
• Completes yearly department competency testing and maintains continuing education credits; 12 hours annually.
• Restorative Nursing training may be required within 6 months.
• Possibility of being classified as a Sanford Category II Driver with valid license.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating; record vital signs.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with restorative nursing and participate in wellness and recreational programs.
