Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is seeking a Senior Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a 128-bed long-term care setting. The role requires CNA certification, and the caregiver will work 2:00pm–10:15pm with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, 16+ years old, and potential Restorative Nursing training within 6 months. A sign-on bonus is offered and comprehensive benefits are available for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 16; two years of clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing is required.
• Annual continuing education: minimum 12 hours per year and yearly competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and mobility.
• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision and document care interactions.
• Support infection prevention, PPE use, and reporting changes in resident condition to the charge nurse.
• Assist with restorative nursing and participate in wellness and recreational programs.
