Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is seeking a Senior Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide experienced, resident-centered care in a 128-bed long‑term care setting. You will work 2:00pm to 10:15pm, with every other weekend and rotating holidays, under RN supervision.

The role emphasizes infection prevention, documentation, and helping residents with daily living activities. You will participate in restorative nursing programs, collect vital signs, provide psychosocial support, and communicate

Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Annual competency testing and 12 hours continuing education required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under supervision of an RN.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes.
• Assist with daily living activities and vital signs.
• Maintain infection control practices and PPE use.
• Support restorative nursing programs and participate in department committees as needed.
