Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is hiring a Senior Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a 128-bed long-term care setting. You will work 2:00pm - 10:15pm, rotating weekends and holidays with full-time status.

You must have a CNA certification, be at least 16, and ideally have 2+ years in long-term care. The role includes documenting care, assisting with transfers, daily living activities, and participating in restorative programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 16.
• Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required with State Board of Nursing.
• Restorative Nursing training within 6 months may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes; communicate changes to charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and activities of daily living; support feeding and nutrition.
• Assist with wellness and recreational programs and participate in departmental tasks as needed.
