Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset seeks a Senior Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a 128-bed long-term care setting in Mandan, ND. You will work 2:00pm–10:15pm, including every other weekend and rotating holidays, under RN supervision, and participate in restorative and daily living activities.

The role requires CNA certification, at least 16 years old, and prior long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• May be required to complete Restorative Nursing training within 6 months.
• If applicable, registered with the UAP Registry in applicable states.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under the supervision of an RN.
• Assist with daily living activities and vital signs.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, dining, and hydration; support mobility and range of motion.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry support; assist with wellness and recreational programs.
• Lead restorative nursing tasks as scheduled and participate in committees as needed.
