Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is a 128-bed facility providing long-term care, skilled nursing services and restorative therapy in a faith-based, nonprofit setting. The Senior Nursing Assistant (NA) supports the resident during scheduled shifts, delivering patient-centered care under an RN.

Responsibilities include daily living assistance, vital signs, documentation, and teamwork to maintain high accountability and infection control.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• Two years of clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older and complete annual competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and daily living activities.
• Take and record vital signs; assist with meals and hydration.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Document care interactions and communicate changes to nursing staff.
