Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is seeking a Senior Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a 128-bed long-term care facility. You will assist with daily living activities under the supervision of an RN, ensuring infection prevention and accurate documentation within the care plan.

You will be part of a caring, skilled nursing team dedicated to compassionate service. The position offers 8-hour evening shifts (2:00pm–10:15pm) with every other weekend and rotating

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• Annual competency testing and continuing education credits required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, vital signs, and psychosocial support as needed.
• Support restorative nursing tasks and participate in wellness programs.
