Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset in Mandan, ND is seeking a Senior Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our long-term care team. The role works 2:00pm–10:15pm, with every other weekend and rotating holidays, in a 128-bed facility focused on compassionate, resident-centered care.

You will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, transferring, and documentation under RN supervision, support restorative and wellness programs, and help maintain infection prevention and a positive dining

Qualifications

High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
Minimum age 16.
Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
Annual competency testing and 12 hours of continuing education required.
Restorative Nursing training within 6 months may be required.
For applicable states, UAP Registry certification where required.
May require Sanford Driving Policy compliance including valid license.

Responsibilities

Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
Assist with daily living activities and vital signs.
Help with transferring, mobility, ROM, and feeding.
Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
Support restorative and wellness programs and participate in committees as needed.
