Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a CMM Programmer/Inspector to develop and execute inspection methods for prototype hardware. You will bridge design intent with GD&T and inspect using CMM and other systems, while supporting fast-moving development in the SWORD Prototype Group.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in dimensional inspection, 7+ years in CMM programming, and experience in high‑mix, low‑volume aerospace manufacturing. Expect on-site work with 10% travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in dimensional inspection of aerospace components or equivalent.
• 7+ years in CMM programming and operation.
• Experience bridging design intent with GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2009.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspection feedback to design, engineering, and manufacturing across product lifecycle.
• Plan, program, setup and execute inspection plans for hardware using CMM and other systems.
• Manage equipment calibration and document Non-Conformance reports.
• Provide dimensional data feedback to machinists and engineers.
