Job summary

Corvid Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to collaborate with our engineering and manufacturing teams to analyze blueprints and inspect components for aerospace and defense projects. The role covers prototype and production work with tight tolerances and requires strong GD&T expertise.

You will develop inspection plans, guide CNC operators, document results, and ensure calibration status across tools, leveraging PC-DMIS where applicable.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• High School Diploma and at least 10 years of relevant quality experience.
• Experience programming and operating a bridge CMM and a CMM arm.
• Proficient in interpreting manufacturing drawings with GD&T.
• Experience with AS9100 FAIRs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures machined parts conform to drawing specifications at all stages of production
• Uses source material to develop testing plans and programs for new and existing products
• Provides plan and instruction to CNC operators, fabricators, and assembly techs for any necessary in-process inspections
• Documents inspection results, generates AS9100D FAIRs, and supports quality management procedures
• Ensures that calibrated item status is valid on all tools used for inspections
