Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an inspection-focused professional to support dimensional and visual checks on manufactured parts using a suite of CMM tools and software. You will interpret blueprints, set up measurement programs, and document findings to help ensure part quality across facilities.

Based in Washington, this role requires 3+ years in inspection, US work eligibility, and a focus on precision measurement using Spatial Analyzer, PC-DMIS, Calypso and similar tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in inspection roles or similar.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsibilities

• Operate Portable 3DMetrology Devices and measure highly reflective parts using Nikon LR Series and spatial analysis tools.
• Create, modify, and optimize CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar software.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and documentation to guide inspection procedures.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections with Spatial Analyzer, Hexagon, Faro, Arm, Tracker and hand tools.
• Document inspection data and prepare reports to track quality and identify issues.
• Identify defects and communicate issues to relevant personnel; support quality control.
• Contribute to inspection optimization projects and work both in a team and independently.
