Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Inspector to verify aerospace components with high precision. You will program and operate CMM systems, inspect using GD&T on blueprints, and collaborate with engineers to ensure conformance to design data.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, process improvements, and strict adherence to quality systems. A shift-enabled, on-site position offers relocation support and a path within Blue Origin Operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of dimensional inspection experience on aerospace components.
• PC-DMIS programming and CMM operation proficiency.
• Excellent blueprint reading and GD&T skills per ASME Y14.5-2009/2018.
• Clear communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Experience inspecting tight-tolerance, high-value parts.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9000 quality systems.
• Ability to earn trust and contribute to an inclusive culture.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Prepare for inspection by creating data analysis templates in Excel.
• Perform inspection software QA activities.
• Program, set up, and operate CMM and manual layout equipment.
• Inspect machined and received components from design data.
• Execute first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Provide dimensional feedback to machinists and engineers.
• Document non-conformance reports as required.
• Provide accurate inspection time estimates.
• Drive process improvements including cycle-time reductions.
• Maintain configuration control on files and job records.
• Work safely within an industrial environment.
